1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how the Centurions app (“the App”) handles your information. The App is designed to run mostly on-device and collects minimal personal data.

2. Data we process

• Contact messages (optional): If you send us a message through the in-app contact form or by email, we process the details you provide (for example your name, email address, and message) so we can reply.
• Purchase status: Apple or Google tells us whether you have an active subscription or trial. We never see your payment card details.
• On-device data: Your workouts, settings, and progress are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to us unless you deliberately share them (for example by emailing support).

We do not use advertising SDKs or sell personal data.

3. Why we process data

We process information only to:

• provide and improve the App,
• handle purchases and entitlements,
• respond to support requests, and
• comply with legal or accounting requirements.

4. Sharing

• App stores / payment processors: All payments are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play; they act as independent data controllers for payment information.
• Service providers: Hosting or email services may process support messages solely to deliver them to us.
• Legal: We may share information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Retention

• Contact messages are kept only as long as needed for support, then deleted.
• On-device data stays on your device until you uninstall the App.
• Purchase records are kept as required by the app stores and tax law.

6. International transfers

If we use services outside the UK/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards (for example the UK IDTA or EU SCCs).

7. Your rights

Under UK and EU GDPR you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to data portability.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

8. Children

Centurions is intended for general audiences but not specifically for children under 13.
If a child has submitted personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is 100 % secure.

10. Updates

We may update this policy occasionally. The latest version will always appear on this page and the “Effective date” above will change accordingly.
